CWDC funding to train as an EYP
New EYP pathways will commence in January 2012. EYP training providers offer guidance on eligibility for funding.

Graduate Entry Pathway (GEP)
People with a degree and limited experience of working with children from birth to five but who are looking to pursue a career working in early years.
Graduate Practitioner Pathway (GPP)
Graduates working in a setting on the Early Years Register who require a small amount of learning before they can demonstrate the standards.
Undergraduate Entry Pathway (UEP)
Undergraduates completing a degree in Early Childhood Studies (or equivalent full and relevant degree reflecting the EYFS outcomes at Level 6)
Undergraduate Practitioner Pathway (UPP)
Early Years Foundation Degree qualified practitioners working in a setting on the Early Years Register.

Covers the period 1 September 2011 - 31 March 2012. Amount available dependent on intensity of study between £700 - £1400
