£900 – maximum p/a for a 3yr course

Study Support

£350 p/a for 3 year course (books. laptop, travel to college etc)

Supply cover

£2,100 p/a  - payable to settings to cover 30 days study release in addition to scheduled day off.

Salary Enhancement

£1400 per year to cover an increase in salary in recognition of commitment to EYPS. Settings will incur extra tax and NI costs and therefore the amount the student receives may be less than this amount.

CWDC funding to train as an EYP

New EYP pathways will commence in January 2012.EYP training providers offer guidance on eligibility for funding.

Graduate Entry Pathway (GEP)
People with a degree and limited experience of working with children from birth to five but who are looking to pursue a career working in early years.
Graduate Practitioner Pathway (GPP)

Graduates working in a setting on the Early Years Register who require a small amount of learning before they can demonstrate the standards.

Undergraduate Entry Pathway (UEP)

Undergraduates completing a degree in Early Childhood Studies (or equivalent full and relevant degree reflecting the EYFS outcomes at Level 6)

Undergraduate Practitioner Pathway (UPP)

Early Years Foundation Degree qualified practitioners working in a setting on the Early Years Register.
